Diversity Training CEO Lindy Korn Featured Speaker at International Conference

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH. - The President & CEO of Diversity Training Workplace Solutions

Lindy Korn was a featured speaker at the 105th Annual Conference of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).

Ms. Korn's lecture dealt with Understanding and Ending Harassment in the Workplace. Her workshop explained the definition and types of harassment, as well as solutions by using a number of legal cases relating to harassment and the police force.

"Discussing the ramifications of workplace harassment with these high profile police executives is the first step to helping eliminate it on their force," said Ms. Korn, whose national consulting firm, based in Williamsville, works with organizations to align their business objectives with people strategies ensuring both their success in the marketplace and harmony in the workplace.

"Employment problems often arise when the employer's policies and procedures aren't clearly conveyed or communicated to their employees," added Ms. Korn, who heard and determined thousands of workplace claims during her seven years as a Workers Compensation commissioner and appellate judge.

The IACP conference was held October 17-21 in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is the world's oldest and largest non-profit association of police executives. Established in 1893, the IACP has approximately 17,300 members in 112 countries.
