Lindy Korn, ESQ., President & CEO
Lindy Korn, Esq. is President, Founder and CEO of Diversity Training-Workplace Solutions, Inc., a consulting firm to assist employers with employment related risks in a proactive manner by establishing fair operating procedures.

Ms. Korn was admitted to the practice of Law in 1979. In 1990 she was appointed by the Governor of New York to serve as a Commissioner of Workers' Compensation for a seven-year term. As an Appellate Judge and member of the Board, Ms. Korn heard complex workplace issues through out the state, presiding over settlement calendars, awarded attorney's fees and balanced the equities of proposed settlements before awarding them. Ms. Korn also served on four other boards, including Fraud Prevention, American's with Disabilities Act, Cost Reduction and Ethics.

Presently Ms. Korn serves as a mediator for the EEOC-Western New York Region and for the U.S. DOJ concerning ADA matters. Ms. Korn also is Co-Chair of the Alternate Dispute Committee for the Women's' Bar Association of the State of New York.

Jerome Appelbaum, M.D.

Dr. Jerome Appelbaum graduated Hobart College were he received a B.A. cum laude with High Honors in Philosophy and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He was working towards his Ph.D in philosophy at Princeton University when he decided to become a physician and obtained his medical degree from the University of Rome, Italy. He subsequently became an Internist and did his Hematology training as a research fellow at Harvard Medical School and the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.

Dr. Appelbaum was amongst the very first to practice Medical Oncology in Brooklyn. He became chief of Oncology at Maimonides Medical Center (Brooklyn). During that time he was the Principal Investigator for the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, receiving grants from the National Cancer Institute and the American Cancer Society to train oncology residents and general physicians. He later became Chief of Oncology at the Community Hospital of Brooklyn and was on the staff of the North Shore University Hospital (Manhasset, New York). From 1985-1990 he worked at Rockefeller University as a Guest Investigator in the Laboratory of Cell Biology headed by Professor Günter Blobel, winner of the 1999 Nobel Prize in Medicine. Following that he was appointed Visiting Assistant Professor, Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy, Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

Dr. Appelbaum retired as a Clinical Associated Professor of Medicine at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University in 1997. He has published articles and written chapters in textbooks in areas of clinical and basic research.

He has always maintained his interest in Philosophy and Psychology having taught a course on Freud for the Department of Psychiarty at North Shore University Hospital.

Mr. Audley F. McClean
Senior Consultant

A consultant and expert in Corporate Employee Relations & Compliance concerns, having been director of HSBC's EEO programs and the Director of its Cultural Diversity Initiatives. Mr. McClean has delivered seminars in the areas of Diversity and Employee Relations for the past three decades for various clients in both the public and private sectors.

Bruce Kevin Koren,Esq.

Bruce Kevin Koren has been a practicing attorney for more than twenty years, having concentrated his practice primarily in the area of civil litigation. He has had extensive experience representing insurance carriers in a variety of issues, as well as defending their insureds. Mr. Koren has also had more than twenty years of experience as a mediator and as an arbitrator, for the Better Business Bureau of Western New York, the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association, the City Court of Buffalo, the Erie County Bar Association, and the New York State Supreme Courts.

He is the author of "Who Put That There? Recent Developments in the Doctrine of Assumption of Risk in Sporting Events in New York", which appeared in The Journal of Legal Aspects of Sports (Winter,1997).

Mr. Koren received a B.A. from Northwestern University in 1973; a J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1976; and a Masters of Science in Sports Administration from Canisius College in 1977.

Dr. David Appelbaum, Psy.D

Dr. David Appelbaum is the Director of Counseling and Health Services at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. Dr. Appelbaum works directly with clients in psychotherapy and oversees the counseling and health service staff in the delivery of clinical services and paychoeducational programming to the college community.

Dr. Appelbaum is a licensed clinical psychologist who has worked extensively with individuals who have experienced sexual harassment and sexual abuse. In addition to a doctorate in clinical psychology,

Dr. Appelbaum holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Psychology and has worked in the human resources field prior to his work as a clinical psychologist.
